Description

MDF fractional resurfacing laser is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses laser technology to improve the skin’s texture and appearance. The laser uses Hollywood Spectra to reduce acne scarring, and enlarged pores and rejuvenate the skin. It creates microscopic columns of thermal damage in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing process and collagen production. This method treats specific areas while leaving surrounding skin intact, promoting faster recovery.

Downtime

Immediate Post-Treatment

  •  (Day 1): Redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn - Sensitivity and warmth in the treated area
  • First Few Days (1-3 Days): Redness and swelling gradually subsid Dryness and peeling may begin
  • Days 4-7:  Reduced redness and swelling - Peeling and flaking decrease - Possible bronzing or light crusting 

Post-Care

  • Keep the Area Clean: Gently cleanse with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser.
  • Moisturize Regularly: Apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer as recommended.
  • Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure, and use broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
  • Avoid Irritants: Refrain from using harsh skincare products until fully healed.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
